Gap store in Avalon Mall closing in April
The only Gap clothing store in St. John's is set to close in April.
A spokesperson for Gap Canada confirmed Thursday evening that the company's Avalon Mall location will close on April 25.
"We always evaluate our store fleet to ensure we have the right stores in the right locations to best serve our customers' needs," Heather Hopkins said.
Hopkins said the decision to close a store is always difficult, and said the company hopes customers will continue to shop online.
