'Garbage bin arsonist' sought in Queens County

Police are looking for a "garbage bin arsonist" in the Queens County area of Nova Scotia.

There have been six cases of arson involving green bins, "and in some cases garbage bins," in Greenfield since mid-July, police say.

According to police, the fires have all been intentionally set.

Residents have told police they're worried these green bin fires could spread, damaging homes or wooded areas.

Anyone with information about the arsons is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
