Former Gogglebox star Stephen Webb has shared an update following his ankle injury.

The TV star was forced to withdraw from this year's season of Dancing on Ice after sustaining the injury during training in late 2023.

However, the star now appears to be on the mend as he has taken to Instagram to reveal he is back training for next year's London Marathon – having withdrawn from this year's event due to his ankle.

Speaking in a running video posted last week, he told followers: "So, I am back out running after seven or eight months of breaking my ankle on Dancing on Ice. This is my first run back out – I am a bit stiff, not gonna lie."

Stephen then informed followers that if they donated to his unfulfilled run for this year, it will roll over to next year's event.

In a follow-up Instagram Story posted over the weekend, Stephen said (via Daily Express): "Oh dear, 12-minute miles. I've got a long way to go. I was doing nine-minute miles before I broke my ankle. But this is only my second run out. I'm going to get there."

Stephen was a cast member of Gogglebox until last year alongside husband Daniel Lustig, with the pair confirming their departure last September.

The couple revealed earlier this year that they were divorcing, though have remained close as friends since.

Daniel has even admitted that he has given his ex dating advice since their split ahead of Stephen's appearance on Celebs Go Dating.

"We're still sharing a flat together. He comes home and tells me about his filming Celebs Go Dating and I try to give him some advice," he told The Sun.

"I don't know if he listens to it, but I will give it. I know what the comments will be. He's come back and I've said, 'You know you're like that. Stop that.'"

Gogglebox airs and streams on Channel 4.
