A rare Mexican wolf pup has been named Sierra after more than 10,000 votes were cast in a naming contest, Brookfield Zoo Chicago has announced.The adorable two-month-old Sierra is one of a litter of nine born in April as part of the Mexican Wolf Recovery Program, a “multi-agency conservation effort to increase the wild population for this species in the southwest United States and Mexico,” the zoo said.Of the nine, Sierra and her sister Molly have remained at the zoo.
