A grizzly bear looking for an easy meal was spotted on a lawn in Sechelt, B.C., sampling some goods from a fruit tree.

Eliza Yates was with her work dog Andy when she suddenly saw a large grizzly bear on her property.

Video uploaded to the Elk House Farm Facebook page shows the grizzly munching away on some apples of a nearby tree, completely unfazed by Yate’s barking dog, who was attempting to scare the large animal off merely a few feet away.

“Holy batman….look at the size of this bear!! Andy is at the very least 80 lbs, likely more. As you can see, not concerned with myself or Andy,” Yates wrote on Facebook.

As the Vancouver Sun reports, this particular grizzly bear has been spotted several times already in the Sechelt area, which is unusual as the species is rarely seen on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast.

Although the bear doesn’t appear to be aggressive in the video, it has reportedly killed a black bear in the area.

Speaking to the Vancouver Sun, Conservation Officer Sgt. Dean Miller explained his office’s number one priority is making sure the bear is safely removed from the area and away from human contact.

“We are making every effort to live trap this bear, tag it and move it to a more remote area,” he said. “I’m really feeling the pressure to catch it before someone takes a shot at it.”

Residents are asked to contact 1-877-952-7277 if they spot a grizzly bear.
