‘Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2’: James Gunn teases post-credits scenes
Marvelites should already start planning to stay till the very end of Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2. Post-credits scenes are expected for Disney’s massive slate of comic book movies, and writer-director James Gunn seems to confirm there’s at least one coming in his space opera sequel.
“All I’ll say is, unless you have to rush out because your mother is dying, stay through the entire end credits,” Gunn tweeted in response to a fan inquiry on the matter.
“Stay through the entire end credits”? The Avengers was the first of Disney’s Marvel films to have two post-credits scenes — one after the mid-credits and one tagged on to the very end. Since Thor: The Dark World, multiple stingers have become commonplace. So what’s in store? It’s too soon to tell, but Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok will follow Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 this year.
