H.E.R. Supports #EndSARS Protests During SNL Performance

In recent weeks, a number of artists have spoken out against Nigeria’s Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) police unit. Last night, during her second set on Saturday Night Live, musical guest H.E.R. debuted a new song called “Hold On.” In the background, her band wore black t-shirts emblazoned with #ENDSARS. Earlier in the evening, H.E.R. played her recent single “Damage.” Watch the performances, both introduced by last night’s host Adele, below.

Countless artists have spoken out against the Nigerian government to combat police brutality and to put an end to SARS, including WizKid, Davido, Burna Boy, Rihanna, Beyoncé, and many more.
