June 20 (UPI) -- The Korean original series Hierarchy rose to No. 1 on Netflix's weekly chart for non-English TV series, the global streaming service said Wednesday.

The romantic drama, starring rookie actors, garnered 6.3 million total views during the June 10-16 period.

Released June 7, the seven-part series follows the story of a new student harboring a secret. He transfers to an elite high school, where the top students rule with strict law and order, and disrupts the once-solid hierarchy.

Meanwhile, three other Korean shows made it into the top 10. The Atypical Family secured third place, the dark comedy The 8 Show took sixth place, and Queen of Tears landed in eighth place.
