High School Freshman Saves Friend From Choking
Security footage from Central High School in La Crosse, Wisconsin, shows freshman Ian Brown jumping into action on March 22 to perform the Heimlich maneuver on his friend, Will Olson, who was choking on his lunch at school.
Brown was part of the La Crosse Police Department’s “Police Explorer”https://lacrossepd.org/2017/03/23/la-crosse-police-explorer-rescues-choking-friend/ program for teens and had learned how to perform the Heimlich maneuver that ended up saving his friend’s life.
