Hollyoaks airs aftermath of JJ sexually assaulting Frankie

Hollyoaks has aired the aftermath of Frankie Osbourne's rape at the hands of her twin brother JJ.
Tonight's (April 18) episode started in the Osbourne house, the morning after the horrific event happened. JJ told his sister that they were "playing a game", that she "wanted it", and that she was "too drunk" to remember if she had disagreed.
"I am gonna tell everyone what you did," she bit back, while holding back tears, although he told her no-one would believe her after her accusations against Jack.

Frankie met up with Lucas Hay in the village and told him she needed to get the morning-after pill, and he agreed to go with her, although she didn't explain exactly what happened. At the clinic, she ran out crying almost immediately after sitting down with the doctor.
Carter Shepherd approached Nancy in school and asked why Frankie hadn't turned up. Lucas covered for her when Nancy didn't know, but JJ piped up with his fabricated version of events.
Suzanne and Darren were summoned to a special safeguarding meeting with Carter, Nancy and JJ, where they were told he had found his sister drunk in the park, and that she had been self-harming. He later tried to get more sympathy from of his parents towards his lies by telling them that Frankie might attack him again for speaking to them about it.
At the park, Lucas got Frankie the pill. She didn't didn't reveal exactly what happened, but did say that her first sexual experience hadn't been a positive one.

When Frankie got back home, Darren and Suzanne asked her if what JJ told them was true, and to explain everything.
With JJ looking over Darren's shoulder, Frankie couldn't bring herself to tell them the truth about her twin, and instead lied that she was self-harming because she couldn't cope with Darren 'abandoning' her.
However, it is only a matter of time before the truth about JJ's evil behaviour must surely come to light.
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
