Inside Inter Miami: Messi > Mickey Mouse, Gressel and Suarez settle in, Champions Cup

This is what Inter Miami’s vision looks like.

Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and others scoring goals with tremendous artistry on the pitch and leaving an overmatched opponent - in this case a league rival - in the dust.

It all clicked for Inter Miami last week during a club-record 5-0 blanking of state rival Orlando City at Chase Stadium.

The star-studded club has left its tumultuous preseason far in the rear view mirror with a 2-0-1 start which has featured Inter Miami scoring eight goals and allowing only one.

Now the trick is sustaining such success throughout the long MLS season and during multiple in-season tournaments like the CONCACAF Champions Cup in which Inter Miami begins play Thursday against Nashville SC.

Inside Inter Miami hosts Michelle Kaufman and Andre Fernandez breakdown those topics and more in our latest episode.

We discuss Suarez’s first two goals as a member of the team and how the club could see that version of the Uruguyan superstar more often.

We also talk about the trade of DeAndre Yedlin and what impact it will have on the team on and off the field.

And Kaufman talks about the club’s newest acquisition, highly sought-after Argentine midfielder Federico Redondo after her 1-on-1 interview with him this week.
