Japan's emperor plants cherry tree at Oxford University college where he once studied

Japan's Emperor Naruhito planted a cherry tree at Oxford University on Friday in the gardens of the college where he was once a student. Naruhito was joined by Empress Masako for his return to Merton College, where he studied for a postgraduate history degree between 1983 and 1985. Masako also studied at Oxford's Balliol College a few years after her husband.
