Jeff Bridges Diagnosed With Lymphoma, Starting Treatment

Jeff Bridges revealed tonight (October 19) that he’s been diagnosed with lymphoma. “Although it is a serious disease, I feel fortunate that I have a great team of doctors and the prognosis is good,” Bridges wrote. He said that he’s starting treatment and will continue to share updates about his recovery.

While Bridges is best known for his work as an actor, he’s also worked as a musician. He recorded music for some of his films (including an Oscar-winning performance for the movie Crazy Heart) and made multiple albums, including 2015’s Sleeping Tapes. His statement tonight made a reference to his iconic starring role in The Big Lebowski
