Jennifer Lopez Dialed Up the Romance in a Plunging Ruffled Gown With a Thigh High Slit

Despite what you may have heard about Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's relationship lately, Lopez still has room left in her life for a bit of romance, particularly when it comes to her wardrobe.

The actress attended Atlas' latest event on May 21 in Naucalpan de Juarez, Mexico and wore an ethereal white ruffled gown pulled straight from Chloé's FW24 ready to wear collection. The semi-sheer dress sat loosley on Lopez's frame, plunging into a deep V-cut at the bust and flaring out into a ruffled skirt with a thigh high slit.

Lopez didn't keep the look entirely sheer—she wore nude colored hot pants underneath the dress to prevent her from showing too much skin. The "Let's Get Loud" singer completed the look with chunky, nude colored peep toe platform heels and accessorized with dangling diamond earrings and rings, which included her wedding band. As for makeup, the star went for glowy skin, peachy, overblushed cheeks and a matching pink gloss.

Much like the Hollywood premiere of Atlas on May 20, Affleck was not present for the event. According to People, he is in Los Angeles at the moment filming The Accountant 2; in photos from set on May 20, Affleck was spotted without his wedding ring while Lopez wore hers to the Atlas premiere. Affleck's ring has since returned to his finger as of May 21.

Lopez's romantic look comes amid divorce reports surrounding her and Affleck. People has cited differences in their approach to media attention as a potential reason for strain in their relationship, with Affleck preferring less of a spotlight than Lopez does. "They just have very different approaches when it comes to media attention. Ben hates all attention and it makes him very uncomfortable. Jennifer has always had a different approach," a source told the outlet.

While Affleck has "always been impressed" by Lopez's career, "always sharing her life is not his way." The source added that being in the public eye "doesn’t make him happy and causes stress in his life and then in hers. There is no question their different styles clash," while a separate source noted that Lopez "needs that expression but Affleck simply is not comfortable with it."
