Jimmy Fallon challenged to lip sync battle by Calgary man

A Calgary man is hoping to join the likes of Emma Stone, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Paul Rudd by battling it out with Jimmy Fallon for the title of lip sync champion.

Lincoln Constable works at the Calgary International Airport, where his job is to "keep planes from crashing into each other and stop them running over my friends."

He also really likes lip syncing.

Earlier this week, Constable posted a video on YouTube of him lip syncing to several popular tunes by Skrillex, Scissor Sisters — and the Little Mermaid.

Since then, the video has gone viral, garnering tens of thousands of views, and everyone from Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi to American rockers Coheed and Cambria is wishing Constable good luck.

"It's all very surreal," Constable said. "Nothing has ever happened to me before, it's insane ... every half hour, hour, it just keeps going up 1,000 or 2,000 views."

Constable says he's a big fan of Fallon's show and would be honoured to do lip sync battle with the late night host.

"I've been training, waiting for the day a worthy opponent would reveal themselves," he wrote on the website for his lip sync pitch.

"I believe that opponent is Jimmy Fallon and while I admire him greatly, I must now destroy him. There can only be one."
