Joseph White, Vancouver Island man, guilty of beating dog with baseball bat
A Vancouver Island man has been found guilty of severely beating his dog with a baseball bat.
Joseph White was convicted of causing unnecessary pain and suffering to an animal. His dog Bryn, a pit bull mix, suffered multiple injuries to its legs, body, head and teeth.
It has since been rehabilitated and adopted by a foster family.
White's co-accused Elizabeth Johnston previously pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.
White will be back in court later this month.
