Katie Price's home targeted by burglar

Katie Price claims her home has been targeted by a burglar who stole a "car load" of her possessions.

The 46-year-old former glamour model claims a thief broke into her "mucky mansion" in West Sussex and ransacked the place before allegedly attempting to sell her belongings on, but Katie has declared he has since apprehended by police.

In a post on Instagram, she wrote: "Thank you to Sussex police for finding the guy who not only broke in to my house but who also stole a car load of my belongings and was caught while he was boosting about trying to sell my stuff and how he broke into my property last week... I'll keep you updated."

Katie recently moved out of the house following a number of incidents there including an acid attack on her pink Range Rover last month.

The TV star later revealed she'd been warned not to stay at the property following the vandalism.

In a post on Instagram, Katie added: "Due to acid attack on my car at my house I've now been advised by authorities not to stay at Mucky Mansion anymore."

It was followed by another incident at the house when Katie appeared to catch a trespasser on camera. She shared video footage of a man walking up to the front door of the property and attempting to open the door. Katie wrote alongside the footage: "Anybody know who this is? Trying to break into my house."

Sussex Police later told The Sun newspaper: "We received a report of suspicious behaviour involving a possible break-in at 9pm on June 4. Officers attended the scene and two men were searched. No items were found. The men were given words of advice and released."

Katie – who was declared bankrupt for a second time in March over an unpaid tax bill – recently admitted she's looking forward to a fresh start in a new home.

According to the Mail Online, Katie said: "I absolutely hate the Mucky Mansion, even how it's been called the Mucky Mansion because of all the stuff that happened there before.

"I can't wait to get out of that house I've had nothing but bad memories in that house for nine years. I hate the Mucky Mansion, I never want to see it again and I can't wait to move into my new place, I am so excited. New beginnings, new start, reset button, I love it.

"But don't worry, I'll be featuring my new house on my YouTube channel when I get the keys and welcoming you to my new house, I can't wait, I just want to get rid of all the bad stuff in the past and have a fresh start."

Katie bought the mansion in 2014 from Conservative Party politician Francis Maude in 2014 for a reported £1.35 million.
