Kendall Jenner Reveals The Story Behind Her "Meow" Lip Tattoo on 'Ellen'

Kendall Jenner reveals the meaning behind her famous inner tip tattoo on 'Ellen.'

Kendall Jenner has finally revealed the story behind that tattoo. Earlier last year, the model showed off her new ink on Instagram—the word "Meow" carefully placed inside her bottom lip—and today, she confessed to Ellen Degeneres during an interview that she opted for the now signature marking after a night out drinking with friends. "It was literally the first thing that came to my mind," she laughed when prodded about its deeper meaning.

It's not the first time the model has made headlines for her famous tattoos. Followers of her Instagram enthusiastically chart her latest ink endeavors—although more often than not, they need to look closely. Two of her three tattoos are slim enough to fit on her middle fingers. One, a diminutive white dot was penned in 2015 by JonBoy in New York City, while the second, a broken white heart matches her friend Hailey Baldwin’s red version.

According to Jenner, sister Kim Kardashian West does not approve. “[She] always says, ‘Don’t put a bumper sticker on a Bentley," the supermodel admits. But as her diehard fans know, Jenner's mischievous spirit and natural-born wild streak that define her. The tattoos that best sum her up? “The one on my right hand is a full heart to represent an angel and my left is a broken heart—kind of like the devil side.”
