Key Biscayne’s July 4 parade turned 65 this year. See how the celebration looked

For the 65th time, Key Biscayne held its 4th of July Parade Thursday, and, for the first time, a longtime Master of Ceremonies returned as Grand Marshal.
Tim Stickney donned red, white and blue garb and face paint for 30 years to host the parade as a Key Biscayne resident. This year, Stickney, now a resident of Pennsylvania, rode in the parade in his signature attire and paint as the Grand Marshal.

Thursday’s parade also featured the rhythmic marching and performing of the North Miami Beach Senior High School marching band as well as the Saint Andrews Pipe Band.
