Kim Kardashian Walked Madonna's Dog in Exchange for Jewelry as a Kid

For most kids, working an after-school job means babysitting for your neighbors, or maybe taking down orders at the local fast-food restaurant. But for Kim Kardashian, the prospects were a little different.

On Monday, the reality star made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and rather than talk about the Taylor Swift song drama, she instead addressed a variety of other random topics — including how she once was Madonna's dog-walker. “She was my next door neighbor when I was like seven or eight years old. I was her dog-walker. Kourtney and I would walk her dog after school," Kardashian explained, adding that she got paid in jewelry, not cash.

"She was transitioning out of the 80s neon phase, so one day she just walked downstairs and handed us a shoebox of all these neon bracelets and Kourtney," the SKIMS founder said. "I went to school and everyone was like, ‘Oh my God I love your bracelets!’ And we were like, ‘Thanks, Madonna gave them to us.'”

When asked if she ever went trick-or-treating at her house when she was young, Kardashian said no, but revealed now that they are neighbors again as both adults, she and Madonna have run into each other on Halloween. "We ran into each other actually trick-or-treating," she said. “We both had like masks on and we were going to the same house and then we looked at each other and I was like, ‘M? Kim?'"

Elsewhere, during a rapid-fire segment on the show, Kardashian confirmed a few internet rumors about herself. And just in case you were dying to know, the beauty mogul does blow-dry her jewelry before putting it on (she can't stand the cold metal against her skin), she sleeps with her eyes slightly open, she washes her feet before getting into bed, and has an assistant whose job is to remove the cardboard sleeve off her Starbucks coffee because the sound of cardboard sliding off is like "nails on a chalkboard" to her.
