More than 300 Kosovo citizens have traveled to Syria since 2012 and 70 men who fought alongside militant groups were killed. The population of Kosovo, which declared independence from Serbia in 2008, is nominally 90 percent Muslim, but largely secular in outlook." Sure it is.

“Authorities said among those who were returned were four fighters, 32 women and 74 children, including nine without a parent.

The four fighters were immediately arrested and the state prosecutor said indictments against them will soon follow.”

The United States assisted to save women and children. They are not enemy combatants. And they are “assisting” with their transport to a country far away from the USA, no threat possible because there are only 4 fighters.

The four fighters will be indicted and probably charged with a lesser crime. These fighters will not die. And they will have some public support. They will possibly be able to roam free one day and able to carry out their attacks.

No buts needed. This is a non story. No news here.

    “...secular in outlook.”
Not for long. Militants will recruit from unemployed males, and tolerance will collapse.

“As Kosovo, we cannot allow that our citizens be a threat to the West and to our allies.”
    Kosovo:

"Countries around the world are wrestling with how to handle militants and their families seeking to return." I'll tell you how to handle them, how about a life time in Guantanamo or some 45 caliber lead therapy.

Still cannot find anything religious or holy about islam. Islam has nothing to do with heaven, being holy, love, treating non-muslims with decency and respect, treating women with love and respect, or being civilized, stable, and free. See islam as being very oppressive to people especially women, promotes violence, murder, and destruction. Islam is connected to suicide bombings, explosions, terrorism, and chaos. Trying to figure out how islam is even remotely religious? Doesn't make any sense.

It seems like almost all of these ISIS fighters were Muslims? Not that many Jews, Christians, Hindus, or even atheists among them as far as I've seen in the news. What does that mean? Was this outfit discriminating against people based on their religion? How do they reconcile that with what they profess to be their firm belief in Islam which surely among the most tolerant religions if the most tolerant and peaceful religion of them all? This doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
