Krispy Kreme is giving customers a tasty tax break.

The beloved eatery is ready to give customers something to look forward to on Tax Day, April 15, by offering a sweet "deduction" on their donut purchase.

On that day, customers who purchase an Original Glazed or assorted dozen box can buy a second Original Glazed dozen for just the sales tax price in their state.

Pricing for the second dozen will vary based on each state's sales tax. A press release explains that there will be a limit of two dozen per customer in-shop and a limit of one when ordering online for pickup or delivery via Krispy Kreme's app and website.

This is the second consecutive year that Krispy Kreme offered the "sweet tax break."

The announcement comes on the same day that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) announced that it has already received "more than 100 million tax returns, with tens of millions more expected to be filed as the tax deadline approaches."

“Delivering tax season is a massive undertaking, and we greatly appreciate people in many different areas working long hours to serve taxpayers as the tax deadline approaches," IRS Commissioner Danny Werfel said in a Friday, April 12 press release.

Customers who plan to take advantage of Krispy Kreme's promotion can expect to see three new Kit Kat-inspired donuts on the menu, packed with "creamy chocolate and crispy wafers," per a media release.

"Life is busy. Take a break with our new Kit Kat Collection. Every creamy, crispy, chocolatey-sweet bite will help turn that busy day into a sweet one," Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme's Global Chief Brand Officer, said of the collection that hit stores on Wednesday, April 10.

The first donut in the collection is the Kit Kat Crunch, which is an original glazed donut dipped in Hershey’s milk chocolate icing and topped with chopped Kit Kat pieces and chocolate-flavored crispies.

The Kit Kat Cookie Dream donut is an unglazed donut topped with chopped Kit Kat pieces, cookie crumbles, and “semi-sweet” Hershey’s chocolate chips. Apart from having Hershey’s milk chocolate icing and a drizzle of cookie dough-flavored icing, it is filled with cookie dough-flavored Kreme.
