Krispy Kreme Is Selling a Dozen Donuts for $4.01 on April Fool's Day: 'No Joke'
There are plenty of pranks on April 1 but this BOGO deal from Krispy Kreme isn't one of them
You aren’t being pranked, Krispy Kreme really has a good deal on April Fool’s Day.
The donut chain is offering customers a dozen glazed donuts for $4.01 when they purchase another dozen donuts at full price. While there can be plenty of stunts on April 1, Krispy Kreme assures fans that this deal is “no joke” in a photo announcing the deal.
The full-priced dozen donuts can be any flavor which means the new Spring Minis Collection fits the bill. Krispy Kreme introduced the four miniature donuts on March 19, each one decorated in springtime-inspired colors and details.
The Mini Birds Nest Donut has a clever look made by using an original glazed donut with chocolate buttercream piped to look like a nest and Cadbury mini eggs placed in the middle to look like, well, eggs.
The Hatching Chick Donut dips a glazed donut in yellow icing and white sprinkles. Frosting eyes and a beak make the dessert look like a cute chick.
The Strawberry Egg Donut keeps up the seasonal theme. Strawberry icing and yellow and blue frosting transform an original glazed donut into something fit for an egg hunt.
The Robin’s Egg Donut takes a glazed donut, dips it in teal icing and adds daisy-shaped sprinkles for the last, yet still festive, sweet in the Spring Minis Collection.

Dairy Queen is also serving up freebies on Monday for their new summer Blizzard menu lineup, which hits stores April 1. In honor of the early seasonal welcome, fans can snag a buy-one-get-one free deal from April 1 through April 14 in the DQ app.
New Blizzard flavors include the Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Party Blizzard, the Picnic Peach Cobbler Blizzard and the Ultimate Cookie Blizzard.
