'Large' Fire Breaks Out at Waste Disposal Station in Washington

Firefighters were battling a “large” trash and debris fire that broke out in Washington, DC, on Friday, March 22.

Footage by local resident John Davisson shows the blaze at the Fort Totten waste disposal transfer station near the metro station.

The fire department said crews were using heavy equipment to move burning debris.
