Take a look at special headphones L’Jarius Sneed gave to each of his Chiefs teammates

A mystery was solved for Chiefs receiver Richie James at Thursday’s Super Bowl LVIII media session.

Before the Chiefs departed for Las Vegas on Sunday, the players found a special gift waiting in their lockers: custom-made headphones from cornerback L’Jarius Sneed.

“I didn’t know that. I was wondering who gave us those headphones,” James said. “Shout-out to Sneed then.

“They’re really nice. I’m not going to lie. I think I’ve seen somebody else with something similar but not what he did. I think he got it like diamond embroidered and stuff like that. It’s gold-plated. It is nice. Got our number on it. Shout-out to Sneed.”

Here is a look at defensive back Chamarri Conner’s headphones.

Sneed said every one of his teammates received the headphones.

“I just want to give back to this team and the guys,” Sneed said. “You know, shout out to Beats, who gave me this deal to work with them and also collaborate with the team.”

Conner was touched by his teammates’ gesture.

“It was very cool,” Conner said. “Walking in and seeing them in my locker, I was very excited, so it’s very cool.

“We’ve got great guys on the team like that. You get little gifts and stuff like that.”

Ahead of last year’s Super Bowl, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce gave the players headphones, too.

Safety Deon Bush, who is in his second season with the Chiefs, said he hasn’t opened up either box with the headphones. He wants to keep them for a while.

“Yeah, they’re really nice,” Bush said.
