Lottery player has good ‘gut feeling’ after buying ticket in WA. Then he wins big
A man strayed away from buying his go-to lottery game and had a good “gut feeling” about his decision in Washington.
He ended up winning $2 million.
The Seattle man went to Safeway after work to buy some lottery tickets, Washington’s Lottery said in a June 27 news release.
He typically plays Powerball but decided to splurge on a $30 Chrome Scratch ticket, lottery officials said.
As he walked out to his car, he had a “positive gut feeling,” he told lottery officials.
He scratched the game and saw the $2 million win.
“His intuition proved correct – the ticket was worth the game’s top prize,” lottery officials said in the release.
The lucky lottery player told his girlfriend. Now, they have plans to travel to Copenhagen and the Swiss Alps, invest some of the money and save some for a down payment on a home.
