“Love Is Blind”'s Chelsea Admits She and Jimmy 'Couldn't Stay Away' from Each Other as They Discuss Chance of Rekindling
While discussing their breakup in e.l.f. Cosmetics' 'Makeup Over Makeup' series, Chelsea Blackwell holds Jimmy Presnell accountable for his "lack of boundaries" while he admits he still needs "to re-heal"
Chelsea Blackwell and Jimmy Presnell are getting real about their breakup.
The Love Is Blind stars reunited for e.l.f. Cosmetics' new "Makeup Over Makeup" video series, where they chatted about their relationship and their decision to call it quits before making it to the altar on season 6 — all while doing each other's makeup.
The former pair starts things out on a lighter foot, cracking jokes about how they're wearing the same outfits they had on when Jimmy, 28, dumped Chelsea, 31, after an amusement park date.
After putting some moisturizer and serums on Jimmy's face, Chelsea digs in, asking why Jimmy was "so uncomfortable" with his friend situation. As fans know, Jimmy's close friendship with his female friends was a point of contention between the former couple and was ultimately what brought Jimmy to his breaking point after Chelsea exposed his secret hookup with his friend in front of cameras.
"It came from a place of me caring about my friends... it didn't mean that I didn't care about you," he explains. "I thought it was a little disrespectful in the way you brought it up."

Chelsea insists that "it was an issue" in their relationship — something she previously told PEOPLE — and clarifies that she didn't have a problem with Jimmy having girl friends but rather, how he approached those friendships.
"It was the lack of respect and it was the lack of boundaries," she explains. "I have friends too, I have a life, I have two jobs. But my whole life was you."
Chelsea also squashes Jimmy's theory that she was "clingy" as a fiancée, saying, "You were thinking I was clingy because I was making you dinner, I was making you lunch ... I was just trying to show you the kind of wife I could be."
The two then flip roles and Jimmy starts to apply makeup on Chelsea's face. As they continue reminiscing on their relationship, Chelsea praises her ex for the way they've navigated their newfound friendship.
"We've been hanging a lot, you've been my support system, you've been really helping me through this crazy journey," she says.
Jimmy agrees, saying, "I've got your back. We didn't have the ending we wanted, but you're a great person, you're a great friend, and I still love my time I spent with you, even though we didn't end up like that."
As Jimmy applies blush to Chelsea's face, she admits that she wishes cameras caught more of their positive moments because fans didn't get to see "even a portion of how fun we were together" and how they had "such a beautiful, beautiful story."
"We had great chemistry," Jimmy notes. "I wish more people saw why we were sticking together so much."
The two also discuss having to relive their highs and lows on season 6, with Chelsea calling it "the most crazy situation" and Jimmy admitting that watching the episodes back made him "feel like I'm just now going through that breakup, even though it was a year ago."
"I can't fathom getting into another relationship right now," he says. "I need to re-heal again even though I spent the last 10 months healing."
Chelsea insists if the duo "met in the real world in a bar, we would've worked ... because we are so good together." Jimmy agrees and adds, "I think things would've been the exact same."
After applying eye shadow on Chelsea, she points out that the two had an undeniable connection — even after they went their separate ways.
"I think we just gravitate towards each other, no matter what," she says. "We obviously couldn't stay away from each other. It was six months, maybe, and we were just gravitating towards each other."
Noting that a lot of people have asked her whether they'd get back together, Chelsea admits, "I always say never say never because we do, we had such a good connection and such a good bond that I would, totally."
Finally, as Jimmy applies mascara to Chelsea, he asks what she would change about her time on Love Is Blind. The flight attendant is quick to admit that she has some regrets about her actions.
"I would've handled our conflicts very differently," she says. "I would've heard you out, I wish I took the time to really, really listen to you, rather than instantly thinking my feelings are valid, I'm in the right. I wasn't hearing what you were telling me and that wasn't fair."

Jimmy owned his missteps too, saying there were things he said that Chelsea "didn't deserve" and there were "a thousand ways to have said everything I told you in a nice way."
He also tells her that "it still hurts my feelings a bit to think you don't think I was ready" for marriage after Chelsea outwardly admits she wondered why Jimmy signed up for the show if he wasn't fully committed to the idea.
"Your words weren't matching your actions," she notes, as he explains, "Things changed on camera a bit."
Ultimately, though, there's no bad blood between these exes — even if he totally botches her winged eyeliner — and they end their reunion on a positive note.
"We're the only people who know our story. You are, to this day, my comfort," Chelsea tells Jimmy. "I love you with my whole heart, I will always love you, but I'm tired of the feelings. I've cried enough!"

After completing filming, the former couple shared their excitement for being able to come together in such a way.
"Jimmy and I hadn’t been this close in a while," Chelsea said. "It was great to reconnect with him and have a meaningful conversation, while having fun with products from my favorite makeup brand."
Jimmy added, "It was great to spend time with Chelsea and to talk things through. 'Make Up Over Makeup’ gave us the chance to make sure that no matter what happens in the future between us, we will always be great friends."
