Why Polkadot, Polygon, and XRP Are Climbing Today

The prices of Polkadot (CRYPTO: DOT), Polygon, (CRYPTO: MATIC), and XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) were all rising today, likely as investors have started returning to cryptocurrencies after a short retreat last week. Polkadot was up by 7.6%, Polygon jumped 7.6%, and XRP had gained by 4.8% over the past 24 hours, as of 10:50 a.m. ET. The prices of Polkadot, Polygon, and XRP started sliding late last week after news agencies began publishing information about the new omicron coronavirus variant.
