Man dies after 2 ATVs crash south of Red Deer

One man is dead after two ATVs collided south east of Rocky Mountain house on the weekend.

An RCMP investigation reports that two males, a 24-year-old and a 42-year-old, were driving separate ATVs and each was carrying a passenger when the crash occurred early Saturday morning.

The accident happened on Township Road 380, seriously injuring the 42-year-old. He was taken to hospital where he died of his injuries. RCMP did not release the man's name pending notification of the family.

Police continue to investigate.
