Man shot twice while getting into vehicle in east Fort Worth, police say

A man was shot while getting into his vehicle early Thursday in east Fort Worth, police said.

Officers were dispatched to 15200 Trinity Blvd. shortly after 2:30 a.m. The victim had been shot twice. His injuries aren’t life-threatening, according to police, and he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Information about the suspect is unknown at this time, police said. Detectives with the Gun Violence Unit will investigate the shooting.
