Man suffers head injury after being struck by vehicle during fight in Paso Robles
A man suffered a head injury after being struck by a vehicle Friday in Paso Robles during a fight in the 1900 block of Riverside Avenue.
Upon responding to what police called “a large physical altercation,” officers found a 29-year-old male on the ground with moderate head injuries, according to a news release. The man was conscious and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The suspect and suspect vehicle had fled the scene of the assault, but a juvenile near the victim was discovered to be in possession of an unloaded 9 mm handgun that was determined to have been stolen from another state.
The juvenile was arrested for possession of a stolen firearm and taken to the San Luis Obispo County Juvenile Detention Center.
