Married Teacher Arrested After ‘Having Sex With Special Needs Student In Classroom’
A female teacher has been arrested after she was allegedly caught having sex with one of her teenage students in the classroom.
Married Jillian LaFave, 25, was reportedly spotted having sex with the unnamed student - who has a learning disability - by another pupil at the Valley High School in Las Vegas.
She allegedly told police that she had kissed the student and swapped 13,000 text messages with him, some of which were sexual in nature.
LaFave also admitted touching his genitals, according to the arrest report, but claimed she pushed him away when he tried to touch her and denied they had had sex.
The teenager apparently called LaFave ‘mum’ and she would call him her ‘son’.
After head teacher Ramona Esparza wrote to concerned parents about “allegations related to inappropriate conduct”, some parents admitted to being worried about student’s safety.
Raquel Martinez told News 3 Las Vegas: “I think it’s really sad because one thinks that their children are secure in school.
“If those things are happening it makes me worry.”
LaFave has been charged with performing a sex act on a pupil and is currently on paid leave.
