Mega Millions Jackpot Tops $1B For Tuesday’s Drawing
As Clint Eastwood once asked, “You’ve gotta ask yourself a question. ‘Do I feel lucky?’ Well, do ya…punk?”
If you answered “Yes,” then you’d be advised to buy a ticket for Tuesday’s Mega Millions lottery drawing.

Winning numbers drawn for Friday’s $977 million Mega Millions jackpot failed to produce a winner, so the estimated jackpot for the next drawing on Tuesday is now more than $1.1 billion. That number is sure to rise as the usual frenzy for large lottery jackpots kicks in.
There have been 30 consecutive drawings without a jackpot winner. The last jackpot was won on Dec. 8.
The jackpot prize can be taken as a one-time lump sum payment or an immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments.
The odds of winning the jackpot is 1 in 302,575,350, according to Mega Millions, which is played in 45 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets are $2 for one play.
You can watch the Mega Millions drawings on abc7NY.com/lottery on Tuesday and Friday nights at 10:59.
