Megan Thee Stallion is known to experiment with beauty. From going blonde like Barbie to sporting claw-like fang nails and getting a picturesque makeup base with an $11 drugstore foundation, she's always surprising us with new looks. Her latest reveal is proof of that because the "BOA" singer is sporting a hair color and style that not just anyone can pull off.

On the night of June 24, Megan Thee Stallion took to Instagram to share a mirror selfie video and a few snaps and count down the days until her new album. In the posts, Megan wears a multicolor patterned mini skirt and off-the-shoulder zip-up bra top. To complete the retro look, she wore long French tip nails with a bubblegum pink base and softened her signature makeup look with lighter hues.

The focal point of the look, however, was her bright orange hair. She wore the new hue with a sleek and straight chest-length style. For a half-up, half-down look, she tied her hair in the small space buns. She left her partial bangs down with a slight curl at the ends, letting the new color shine.

We can't help but notice that Megan's new hair happens to resemble some famous characters in pop culture. With her signature ginger bun and bangs, Wilma and Pebbles from The Flintstones comes to mind. The color is similarly reminiscent of Daphne Blake from Scooby Doo.

Or perhaps Megan found some inspiration from an anime character. (She has an established cosplay portfolio, after all.) The orange hue, bangs, and tied hair look quite similar to Nami from One Piece. (ICYMI: Megan has also referenced My Hero Academia with green hair and a full-on Todoroki cosplay in the past.)
