But for single men in China, apparently, there is now a third option.
This bizarre lingerie-themed bar is offering lonely hearts the chance to pay for the company of blow-up dolls while drinking in the establishment.
The bar – which has bras and hosiery strewn about – is apparently making a killing since it reopened with a new theme.

The watering hole, in south-west China’s Chongqing, has even renamed itself The Lingerie Bar.
It now dims the lighting to make it more discreet for the large numbers of customers now turning up to see the questionable interiors.
While most of the customers who turn up are giggling visitors taking pictures – but politely stopping for a drink – many are paying to spend time with inflatable female company.

The establishment, which also doubles as a restaurant and provides what it calls “quality private dining”, says that the offer of refined company for visitors has proved extremely popular.
The Lingerie Bar, like many in Chongqing, is actually aimed at the very well-to-do – specifically, those who have money to spend on inanimate company.
