Modesto’s Fruit Yard moves away from country music with this new August show

In a 2024 season filled with country music, the Fruit Yard Amphitheater is bringing something different with its latest announced show.

El Festival De Íconos De La Musica Femenina Hispana Tour, set for Aug. 24, brings in a lineup of popular Latina performers.

The concert at the Modesto venue features superstar Paquita La Del Barrio. She is legendary for her ranchera and other Spanish-language music.

Also on the lineup are Lupita Infante, Flor De Toloache and Jacqie Rivera.

Infante is a singer-songwriter known for her mariachi, norteño and ranchera music. Flor De Toloache is an all-female mariachi group. Rivera is an actress and singer.

The show starts at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, with tickets from $55-$200, available at www.thefruityardevents.com.

The tour joins the season’s remaining roster: Midland (July 26), Walker Hayes (Aug. 8), ERNEST (Sept. 14) and Chris Janson (Sept. 20).

Officially called The Fruit Yard Chicken Ranch Casino Resort Amphitheater, it’s at 7948 Yosemite Blvd. There is lawn seating and reserved seating to accommodate about 3,500 people.
