Motorcyclist, 35, suffers severe head injuries after Brampton crash

A 35-year-old male motorcyclist has been rushed to a trauma centre with severe head injuries after a collision in Brampton.

Officers with Peel Regional Police were called to the Nelson and Mill streets area just before 8 p.m. Friday about reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle.

Const. Paolo Carretta could not confirm if the motorcyclist was struck by the vehicle, but said the driver remained on scene and is co-operating with police.

Nelson Street is expected to remain closed at Mill Street for several hours as the major collision bureau investigates.

Park Street is also closed from Queen to Nelson streets for the investigation.
