MS Coast casino has three jackpots in one night. ‘It was just like pop, pop, pop, all day’
Friday was a great day to be at Scarlet Pearl Casino in D’Iberville as, three big hits extended this year’s string of slot machine wins at South Mississippi casinos.
“It was just like pop, pop, pop all day long,” said Angela Black, director of gaming operations at Scarlet Pearl Casino, who was there on the big day.
First up was a nearly $50,000 win. The player had bet only $1.80 when he hit the jackpot, Black said.
“What a return on your investment,” she said.
A little while later a woman from Gulfport hit for $86,000.
“A few hours later we had a gentleman hit for just under $100,000,” Black said.
The winners are:
▪ A man from Austin, Texas, hit $49,141.30 playing dimes on a Mighty Cash in the high limits Orchid Room.
▪ A woman from Gulfport hit $86,038.09 playing dimes on a Lock it Link in the Orchid Room.
▪ A man from Iuka, Mississippi won $99,800 playing The Triple Blazing 7s Double game.
“What makes this one special is there were no taxes,” Black said of the $99,800 win. The man was playing for high limit spins and put $100 in the machine. He played three spins when he hit the bonus round to spin 100 times.
A large crowd formed around the man as he took his 100 spins. “Everyone was rooting for him,” she said.
This is the third set of jackpots paid out at Coast casinos just in June.

April 27 — an unidentified player won big with a $1,217,921.02 jackpot at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino playing a $1 Dragon Link game with a $25 minimum bet in the high limits area of the casino
April 19 — Rosa V. (last name not disclosed) of McAllen, Texas, was playing a $100 Triple Double Stars game in the high limit slot room at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino when she won a $200,000 jackpot.
March 8 — An unidentified player won a life-changing jackpot of $1,254,996 playing a $1 denomination Wheel of Fortune Triple Gold Gold Spin at the Beau Rivage.
