Natalia González Upped to Agent In IAG’s Physical Production Department As Allison Irvin Joins

EXCLUSIVE: Independent Artist Group’s Physical Production department has added two agents, bringing in veteran Allison Irvin from Zero Gravity Management and promoting Natalia González, who we’re told has been a vital contributor to the department for many years. Irvin will be based in IAG’s New York office, with González working out of Los Angeles.

“We are proud to continue to identify, hire and nurture diverse voices within the IAG Physical Production department,” said IAG’s Head of Physical Production, Julian Savodivker, “and in Allison and Natalia we have two excellent new additions that will allow us to continue to grow our business domestically and internationally across all production disciplines as well as expand into the world of Music Composers and Supervisors which is very exciting for us.”

Working in film and television for nearly 15 years, Irvin has now spent a decade representing Physical Production clients. During her two years at Zero Gravity, she repped producers, cinematographers, production designers, costume designers, and editors worldwide, prior to that spending five years as an agent at WME. Before getting her start in the Physical Production department at Gersh, Irvin studied film production at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. There, she was mentored by underground writer-director, Amos Poe, who taught her the ins and outs of indie filmmaking and gave her a love for the business, as well as an appreciation for the artisans who are its backbone.

Prior to her promotion at IAG, González worked as a coordinator representing clients, prior to that heading up finance in the department. Going forward, she will lead the charge in creating a new category within the Physical Production department, representing Music Composers and Supervisors worldwide. At the same time, she’ll look to expand her current roster of clients in VFX, cinematography, costume design, production design and editing, with a focus on European and Spanish-speaking markets, as well as the U.S.

Last month bringing in a trio from A3 — Lit Agents Katt Riley and Nick Beldoch, and Talent Agent Fatmata Kamara — IAG in February appointed Adam Kanter to serve as Head of Motion Pictures.
