NBA betting: Bets nearly 50-50 on Suns, Bucks ahead of NBA Finals Game 4
Bettors are split on Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks.
The favorite (and home team) has covered in all three games so far. The Suns won Games 1 and 2 in Phoenix and the Bucks won Game 3 in Milwaukee. With the series still in Milwaukee for Game 4, will those trends continue?
The Bucks are 4.5-point favorites at BetMGM with the total sitting at 220.5. While the majority of action on the total is on the over — 66% of the bets, 67% of the money — bettors are nearly 50-50 on the point spread.
According to BetMGM, 51% of the bets are on the Suns +4.5 but 55% of the money is on the Bucks to cover the 4.5. Predictably, most of the moneyline action is on the Suns at +150 — 74% of the bets and 65% of the money.
The three Game 4 prop bets receiving the most action at BetMGM are the Bucks winning by 6-10 points at +350, Giannis Antetokounmpo to record 15 or more rebounds at +165 and Devin Booker to score 30 or more points at +115.
How have the series odds shifted?
Before Game 1, when the injury status of Antetokounmpo was up in the air, the Suns were -190 to win the series with the Bucks as +160 underdogs.
After the Suns took a 2-0 lead even with Antetokounmpo suiting up for the Bucks, the Suns ballooned to -500 favorites with the Bucks as +375 underdogs. The Bucks then won Game 3 in dominant fashion, 120-100, causing another considerable odds shift.
Ahead of Game 4, the Suns are -275 and the Bucks are up to +225.
If you’re looking to jump on the Bucks making a comeback, you might not get a better price.
