Nocturnal storms in northwestern Ontario follow Manitoba tornado warnings
Tornado-warned supercells raced across Manitoba’s Interlake region and areas south, near Winnipeg, on Wednesday evening. Due to the highly unstable air mass, these thunderstorms are strong enough to persist into the overnight hours as they move into northwestern Ontario, prompting a continuation of tornado warnings for a brief period of time.
