Nudist removed from Kelowna's Remembrance Day parade

Man arrested for attempted homicide of 2 children near Campbellton

A nude man was removed by police when he tried to join the Remembrance Day parade yesterday in downtown Kelowna, B.C.

RCMP said the man tried to join in just before 11:30 a.m. PT, but was removed within 30 seconds, "without incident."

"Although the man did not pose any threat to the public, he was quickly removed," said Const. Jesse O'Donaghey.

The 49-year-old Kelowna man is expected to appear in court on Jan. 11, 2016 to face a charge for causing a disturbance.
