One civilian killed, six injured in Russian shelling of Donetsk Oblast

One person was killed, and six others wounded in Russia's shelling of Donetsk Oblast, regional governor Vadim Filashkin reported on May 6.

A resident of Chasiv Yar was killed in the Russian strikes.

Residents of Mykhailivka, Krasnohorivka, Hеorhiivka, and Chasiv Yar were injured.

At least 1,954 people have been killed and about 4,877 others injured in Donetsk Oblast since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, the Oblast Administration said.

They added that the casualty figures do not include those from Mariupol and Volnovakha.

Three people, including women aged 49 and 67 and a 68-year-old man, were injured when a Russian drone carrying a grenade attacked a civilian vehicle in the Pokrovskyi district of Donetsk Oblast on the evening of May 5.
