Eganville – The paramedics have left the building.

Bonnechere Valley Mayor Jennifer Murphy told council Tuesday it was the last day County of Renfrew paramedics would be working out of the municipal building.

“They will finish their shift at the new base,” she told council.

The paramedics new home is the former O’Grady Brothers Garage. It was just over a year ago the announcement was made public Pat and Helen O’Grady sold their garage to the County of Renfrew for use as a new paramedic base and also multi-purpose building with office space for various uses. It has been about 10 months since the O’Grady’s vacated the property.
