A Canadian reporter was about to go live on a news broadcast when she was interrupted right before by an adorable stranger.

Michelle Mackey was reporting for City News in Toronto when a little girl approached her.

The child asked: “Can I hug you?”

The reporter replied: “Oh my god, I would love a hug!"

The two embraced and chatted for a moment before Michelle had to go on air.
