Patrick Schwarzenegger Lists West Hollywood House

Patrick Schwarzenegger’s most recent real estate flip is a modern farmhouse in West Hollywood. The young actor, who has bought and sold several properties in the Los Angeles area over the years, recently listed the 2,198-square-foot house for $3.349 million, a substantial bump above the $2.85 million he paid for it about two and a half years ago.

Situated on a quiet residential street in the Melrose Arts District, the home features three bedrooms and four bathrooms, and is largely invisible from the street, hidden behind a high hedge and secured gates. The interiors are clean-cut and brightly lit, thanks to a number of skylights that flood the open-floor-plan living space with plenty of natural light. The living room, which features a lofted ceiling, boasts a sleek modern fireplace nestled into a black floor-to-ceiling column. The galley-style kitchen has brass accents and wide plank oak floors.

The home’s two guest bedrooms are both en suite, with vaulted ceilings and skylights, while the master bedroom features its own fireplace, an oversize walk-in closet, and automated skylights. In the backyard, there's a trellis-covered terrace, accessible via an entire wall of glass sliders for an indoor-outdoor flow. The terrace features a stone fireplace with a TV mounted above it, as well as a built-in barbecue grill. A rectangular lap pool and several patches of faux grass fill out the rest of the yard.

Just last year, Schwarzenegger made a handful of real estate deals in Santa Monica, selling a tear-down bungalow he purchased in 2018 for $3.2 million and snapping up a vacant parcel for $2.95 million that he’s since put back on the market for $3.85 million. Suffice it to say, the actor, who will next star in Amy Poehler’s Netflix dramedy Moxie, has come a long way since his parents, exes Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, were first house-hunting for him and his sister, Katherine, in June 2017.
