Photos: The Weeknd performs medley of hits at the Super Bowl LV halftime show

Canadian superstar The Weekend was tapped to perform at the Super Bowl LV halftime show on Sunday and the Toronto-born singer did not disappoint.

Performing a medley of hits including "Starboy," "The Hills" and "Can't Feel My Face," The Weeknd (born Abel Tesfaye) took the stage around 8:25 p.m. ET for a 14-minute set. The star managed to maintain social distance with performers, and the mass of dancers that joined him on the field wore on-brand bandages as part of the singer's schtick, that doubly acted as masks.

Last year, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira teamed up to deliver an electrifying set with special guests Bad Bunny, J Balvin and Lopez’s daughter Emme.
