Body of man missing in Northern Quebec plane crash found

Two survivors of a plane crash near a river in Northern Quebec were rescued in a provincial police helicopter operation on Saturday night.

A third person on board was swept away by the current, their whereabouts unknown.

The small plane crashed by the Broadback River, roughly 800 kilometres north of Montreal.

The two survivors managed to contact emergency officials using a satellite phone. Police say they are suffering from hypothermia, but their lives are not considered to be in danger.

Divers are expected to arrive on the scene by Monday to help with the search for the missing person.
