Plateau Mont-Royal residents without water after main break

Some residents of the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough will be without water for part of Wednesday after a water main break.

The water main break that happened around 2 a.m. on Tuesday still hasn’t been completely fixed.

Michel Tanguay, spokesman for the borough, said excavation work is taking longer because of the amount of ice and snow.

Repairs have been delayed until Wednesday.

Water will be cut off on Laurier Avenue between Clark Street and Henri Julien Avenue from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
