Pointe-Brûlée man missing near Lamèque
A 61-year old man from Pointe-Brûlée is missing near Lamèque and the RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in trying to locate him.
Richard Mallet's family reported him missing at 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
Mallet was last seen at about 1:15 p.m., on chemin Pointe-Brûlée when he left his home driving his 2007 yellow Jeep Wrangler. His New Brunswick licence place is JJA 665.
Mallet is described as a Caucasian man who is about five feet, four inches tall and weighs about 145 pounds. Mallet has blue eyes and is bald.
RCMP said he may have been wearing jeans, a hat and a dark blue jacket.
The RCMP helicopter will be helping with the search.
